| Giving up your Pug is a tough decision. There are many reasons
why an owner
cannot keep a Pug. We are not here to judge, we are here to help. We
understand and share your concern for the future well-being of your Pug and
will do everything in our power to place the dog in a loving home that
matches his personality and specific needs.
We will accept any Pug, regardless of age, temperament, and/or medical
condition. Each Pug surrendered will be evaluated and treated by a licensed veterinarian, spayed and neutered, and
updated on all vaccines. The dog will then be placed in an approved foster
home where his temperament and personality will be evaluated. Every effort
will be made to place your Pug in the most suitable home after careful
consideration, including an extensive interview process and a home
inspection. It is important for us to make the right match between dog and
adoptive family as our goal is to find a “forever home” where the Pug will
be loved and taken care of for the rest of his life.
We ask that you be completely honest with
us regarding any behavioral or medical issues. This will help our volunteers
make informed decisions in the process of re-homing your Pug.
If you need to surrender your Pug, please contact us by phone at
(702)
883-0740 or email us at info@rescuepugs.com . We will work with you to pick up
your dog and try to make the process as stress-free as possible for both you
and your Pug. All information regarding your surrender is confidential.
