SNPR has some very exciting news for the Cutest Pug Contest Winners!!

If you are familiar with Petographique, then you already know what special work Arica does there. If you are not familiar with them, after reading this email I encourage you to go to www.petographique.com and check out the beautiful work of Photography that Arica is able to capture. Her pictures are nothing short of incredible.

As wonderful as her pictures are, they are matched by Arica's generosity to the animal rescue community here in Southern Nevada. Arica has offered a very special incentive to help SNPR raise a lot of needed money so we can continue to take in pugs like Hope, Sadie, Tina, etc.

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the cutest pug contest will each receive a complimentary photo shoot in Arica's Petographique studio as well as a $100 dollar gift card to be used toward the purchase of photos from the shoot. This is a retail value of $250.00.

The most exciting news is that the 1st place winner of our contest will receive the session and gift card IN ADDITION to an extensive photo shoot of multiple settings such as Spring, Fall, special Holiday's etc. The pictures from those specialty themed shoots will be used on our web site ALL year until next years winner is found! If you go to our web site's home page, www.rescuepugs.com and look in the top left corner, there is always a beautiful pug picture displayed there. Once the winner is announced and the photo shoot takes place, it will be the winners picture there for all to see! Talk about celebrity status and bragging rights!

Anyone who has experienced a Petographique photo shoot knows that this is a gift that we are so grateful to be able to offer!! In fact, this prize had SNPR board members asking if it was too late to get our pugs into the contest!! <wink>

All kidding aside, the numbers are in, round 3 is starting, and the prizes are coming in like crazy for the winners!! Don't let yor pugs get eliminated! Vote, and Vote often! And tell your friends!

A New year means a fresh start! After ringing in 2010, SNPR has decided to ask all of you to help us making a change for the better. Printing and postage for large mailings is expensive and time consuming, and we would
love to keep in touch with our supporters on a more regular basis. To accomplish this, we are going to start sending out electronic newsletters. If you would like to receive these instead of the paper mailings, please
send your email address to: saira@rescuepugs.com. Less mailings means even more money goes towards the pugs in our rescue, and less paper wasted!

Thank you to our Hope Supporters

SNPR Needs Foster Homes

Have you ever thought about fostering? Wonder what’s involved? It’s pretty simple. Are you a loving, responsible pet owner? Think you could handle one more pug to cuddle? If the answer is yes, then fostering is for you! The number of pugs we rescue goes up every year, and we need more foster homes to keep up with those numbers.

Foster homes are the backbone of any rescue group. The more foster homes we have, the more Pugs we can take in. Our goal is to never turn a Pug away because we don’t have room, but that goal depends on the Las Vegas community helping us by fostering. Pug rescue is not possible without our wonderful foster homes. Please, if you have considered fostering, now is the time.

If you have adopted from us in the past, you are already approved to foster, just email SNPR at: saira@rescuepugs.com, and we can put you on our foster list. If you have not adopted from us yet, please visit www.rescuepugs.com, and click on “Adoption Application” to fill out a foster application (specify foster home in the space provided), and someone will call you to set up a house check. All current pets must be fixed. You can also contact us if you have any questions about fostering, just email saira@rescuepugs.com

Fostering is not for the faint of heart. It takes a tremendous amount of courage and love to let a Pug move on to their forever home when the time comes. Some you will push out the door, while others may be tough to let go, but in the end it is ALL worth it! These little Pugs are cute but they may not be perfect. They sometimes come with a little extra baggage and may need extra time, patience, and love. All veterinary bills will be paid by SNPR. You just provide the lap to snuggle in, and a warm, cozy place for the Pug to rest. One of the best rewards is seeing that scared little Pug who came into your home leave happy, healthy, and confident-ready to start a new life in their forever home.

Remember, if you have adopted from us, someone loved your Pug enough to foster him or her. Can you do the same for another little one who needs you now?
